Similes

We have been looking at similes and found a song by Lenka. We took the words of the song and illustrated them. Louise, Elisha and Loveday then turned the pictures into a movie. Here is the end result.

Goats or No Goats

A7 have been looking at persuasive writing.  We wrote letters to Mrs Compston about having goats on the school field.  Some people wrote for and some wrote against.  Here are some people reading their letters.  Who do you agree with?

Book Week

Last week we had book week and some people dressed up as book characters.

Camera Sketching

We looked at some old cameras from a Box Brownie (60 years old) to some more recent ones. We did some sketches, trying to look at the detail.

The Pandas reading group read a book about big cats. They then wrote about some of the things they had learnt, and used Publisher to display their work. Here are the results.
